Get Out the Vote 2020 Campaign

Initially, this design was created for the AIGA Get Out the Vote Campaign for the 2020 Presidential Election. Seeing as it was the 100th year that women could vote, I chose to focus my piece specifically around women's issues to encourage younger female voters to get out to the polls.

Once I mind mapped, I went into my sketch book and came up with quite a few ideas

I finally decided on one concept in particular that I really liked and made a mock-up that I then brought into Illustrator to guide me through my design process.
After review and critique, I decided to play around with photography to make my message even more compelling. Again, I wanted to ensure that femininity came across, especially through emphasis on the crotch. For this purpose, I instructed my model to wear jeans and to pose as seen below. I wanted to ensure the natural creases within the pants while reiterating my point with my message, "Vote."
